Harry spent the majority of the morning whistling and skipping and basically being obnoxiously happy, as he had spent every morning this week. Not that he could really tell anyone why he was so happy. Although some guessed. He didn't care. It was wonderful and perfect and he loved his girlfriend. And now he knew what could make people break into song, because he wanted to. Although usually by the afternoon his happy mood would wear of and he would be stuck doing paperwork, or menial errands or he would sneak away and escort Hannah somewhere. He wanted to make sure she was safe.

Harry wondered how she was doing since the attack. She was so sweet and vibrant and happy, she acted as if nothing had happened. But he found it hard to believe that was true since there were prominent dark circles under her eyes. He had been thinking about it on his way home last night when he was suddenly struck with an idea. His birthday was coming up in nine days, and while it would be nice to have a party, he thought it would be even nicer if it wasn't just for him, but also for Hannah and Katie. Since everyone forgot Katie's birthday and Hannah was having the worst day ever. He had contacted McGonagall and she agreed to let him use the quidditch field at Hogwarts, since it would be a nice festive place to have it and the most secure. She even offered to make her lethal Four House Punch, which he remembered having once last year, and really, after the one drink, he didn't remember much of anything else. So with one beverage off the list he wrote out an owl to all of their friends and waited for responses as he munched on his sandwich, wishing very much that it was one of Hannah's creations.

Hello my friends!

As you know my birthday is coming up, but what better to celebrate one's birthday, then to celebrate it with two others. And so I present to you Harry Potter's Surprise Birthday Extravaganza for Hannah Abbott and Katie Bell. Don't worry I do plan on coming up with a new name. But for now, we will call it Project A & B. The plan is simple. In nine days we will all meet at the quidditch field at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and surprise the hell out of our two friends. Now I just need two things from all of you:
1. KEEP THIS A SECRET. Neither of them can know that the party is for them. Just tell them you are helping plan my birthday if you have to.
2. Bring something. And since Hannah is our resident birthday cake baker, that means I will need three of you two step up to the plate. (One cake for each person. I mean really, you can never have too much cake.) Following is a list of items we will need to party. Please sign up to bring one and then be prepared to party like wild people on the 31st.

It's Remus... I haven't been your professor in ages, Harry. I've been back for a short while. Minerva asked me to return to teaching at Hogwarts. I've just been terribly busy with reorganizing things, finishing up the term after the previous Professor resigned, and just getting settled in. But I'm doing well!

I'd love to get together! I have plenty of spare time right now, so just let me know when your schedule permits it.

Consider the food taken care of then.
