[Diagon Alley] [evening] [anyone]
Harry walked into Diagon Alley feeling a little vulnerable. He didn't realize how safe the little pieces of glass made him feel. It was odd to not feel the weight on the bridge of his nose or having to constantly push his glasses up. He told himself that he would never get contacts, that his glasses were part of him. But after being broken at least five times a day during auror training, episkey was taking it's toll and it was getting harder to keep them together. And wearing glasses in a fight put him at a huge disadvantage. Knock them off and he was essentially blind. So it was time to get contacts. It had taken them a week to come in, and it was his first outing with them. He laughed, wondering if it was like Clark Kent and maybe without his glasses no one would recognize him.
